The Data Science minor includes a hands-on capstone project, giving you real-world experience in data analysis. You’ll choose between an internship or an independent study to apply your skills in a field that interests you.
Recent internships have included companies like the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA), State Teachers Retirement System (STRS), and Cardinal Health. If you prefer independent work, past projects have tackled topics like gerrymandering, sports analytics, migraine research, fantasy sports, nursing home regulations, and even climate change.
